About TheMessenger
TheMessenger is a messaging platform that leverages cutting-edge technologies powered by Renav Technologies. The product offers a “Conversation Cloud Platform” with WhatsApp Business, enabling our Clients to store, manipulate, analyze, and transfer messages across various messaging channels provided by TheMessenger and third-party sources (the “Service”).

TheMessenger is dedicated to safeguarding Personal Data, both for our internal use and on behalf of our Clients.

Collection and Use of Personal Data

  • TheMessenger collects information, including Personal Data, for the following purposes:
  • Providing and managing the Service
  • Internal business operations, including communication, marketing, recruiting, and personnel management
  • Collecting payment for the Service
  • Understanding and enhancing our Service and Website

To deliver our services, we gather user names, email addresses, and phone numbers, uploading these details onto our secure servers. This information is exclusively used for user identification and content delivery within the app.
For an optimized experience and to provide our Service, we may request personally identifiable information, such as user names and Oauth2 credentials. The data we request is retained and used as outlined in this privacy policy.

On Premise API
TheMessenger communicates with 360Dialog’s On Premise API, temporarily storing messages before forwarding them to the WhatsApp platform. Stored messages undergo necessary transmissions, and WhatsApp messages are automatically deleted after 30 days.

Providing and Managing the Service
During Service provision, TheMessenger may receive, access, analyze, process, and maintain Personal Data on behalf of our Clients. Our Clients determine the types of Personal Data collected, its usage, disclosure, and storage duration. For inquiries about Personal Data usage by our Clients, please contact them directly.

  • Data is stored in secure cloud servers, and we implement encryption for all personally identifiable information.
  • Upon termination, all data (contacts, conversations, etc.) is permanently deleted unless otherwise requested.

Account Information, including contact details, user profiles, and payment information, is collected when registering or authenticating into our Service. Responding to product demo requests: Information collected for demo requests includes first and last names, job titles, WhatsApp numbers, business email addresses, and company information.

Collecting Payment for the Service
For Clients with paid Service versions, information is collected and processed on how the Service is used, along with Account Information for billing purposes.

Service Usage Information is collected to comprehend Service usage and improve Services, investigate security issues, abuse, and fraud. Website visits are tracked using IP addresses, page requests, browser types, operating systems, and average visit durations. Cookies are used as detailed in the Cookie Policy below.

Disclosure of Personal Data
TheMessenger does not disclose, trade, rent, sell, or transfer Personal Data, except as specified in this policy:

Service Provider Arrangements: Personal Data may be transferred to third parties processing it on our behalf, as instructed.
